Fun facts about Brawlhalla: 1. Not "free smash bros" besides the fact that they're platform fighters, they couldn't be more different. 2. If you want to enjoy the game, remain playing customs with friends. Matchmaking is atrocious. 3. The absolute neanderthals that roam the ranked queues are worse than you could ever imagine. 4. In ranked, be ready for your opponent to do absolutely anything possible to win the match. 5. The TINIEST bit of internet disruption will absolutely 100% screw you over. Teleporting or seeing false images. 6. All games have their toxic side. Brawlhalla's is bad in gold and low plat. But you'll never escape it, no matter your rank. 7. Easy to learn, but most of the brain dead degenerates that play matchmaking will astonish you with how little they know. 8. This game benefits the cheekiest strategies. You will play better against people better than you and worse against worse. I was at BCX 2018 (Brawlhalla's annual world championship) and got to meet some pros. Cool people. And this game definitely has its positives, It gets addicting, learning new combos and reads, but that excitement and addiction can get killed very quickly by the other people on this game. I have a 3 point checklist that once I complete, I can satisfyingly quit Brawlhalla and never come back. Checklist: 1. Reach level 100 (Check) 2. Reach 1000 hours (Check) 3. Reach Diamond rank
