I know this game has gotten a lot of hate for a lot of valid reasons. But I’m playing Fallout in space and I’m loving it. The gameplay is extremely satisfying for me and I actually have this yearning to go out and explore space. The fact that there are so many planets with resources and missions and storylines really feels alive to me. I’m actually happy I had low expectations for this game, because I’m having an awesome time and I’d even go so far to say that I’m proud of Bethesda for the care they put into this game. Not proud of Bethesda for the paid mods, but just about everything else feels really good to me. I know people talk about wanting to actually fly the ships on-planet and leave atmosphere and such. That would be cool, but I didn’t expect that. I expected fast travel, and I still feel immersed in the space captain experience. Character customization was also really good in my opinion. My character’s name is Eugene Starfield and he is the Dragonborn of space.
