I feel as though the hype generated from this game and the reviews before this are good enough testament to its quality however I do wanna voice my own thoughts. To start, would I say the game lives up to the hype/is it a good game/is it a good sequel to Hollow Knight? Yes, for the love of God yes, if a fan of the original Hollow Knight wanted more of it as well as a more challenging expirience, buy this game YESTERDAY. With my bias aside (as I have completed 100% of the original HK), I do belive that Silksong can stand on its own merit as a standalone game and doesn't require a nostalgia boost from the original in order to be good. I won't say anything else, but if you are a fan of the orginal Hollow Knight or are looking for an unforgetable Metroidvania-Soulslike expirience, then this is the game for you. I spent 20 Euros to buy it for myself and then 20 Euros to buy it for my friend and I still think I stole from Team Cherry.
